« on: 09/06/12 18:26 UTC »
Ill be in the FT Worth area in mid Sept.  I will be doing some golfing and fishing.  What colors and what baits are working in that area this time of year?   I would love some help on this so that I can get a few baits shot before I go.  thank you

Do you know where you will be fishing (Lake Worth, Eagle Mtn, Arlington)?  Any chance you will make it to Ray Roberts or Grapevine?

I wish I knew.  I am coming up there for a Heros on the water kayak fishing trip.

Watermelon Red, Watermelon Red with a Perl Belly, Black and Blue, Green Pumpkin, Pumpkin Seed are all consistent producers in Texas.  There may be a hot color on any given lake, but I would always have these.  I would also carry some chartreuse dip, to dip a tail in in case you find yourself in a muddy area.
