A friend from work and I went to lake Monona in Madison today we caught 3 muskie 3 pike 6 bass. Used cut down xc5" craw as a trailer on swim jig but all they would hit was a 3/4 oz. spinner bait.One of the skies was 41" and had one bigger one at the boat that would not play nice. Fished from 8 am till 3. Had a great day on the water. mike

Biggest muskies we've seen in northern WI have hit #4 mepps' or topwater frogs.  Not real common we find a musky on musky baits.  Bass love 'em tho!
