Thank ALL of Yawl for partaking in this Thread! Been watching this and that, following-up with a bit of thinking. There are several baits I'll be copying, with POP and EZ-Cast in mind...now I'm thinking either Fiberglass Resin, Bondo, or Durhams Rock Hard Putty. I already have a 4 lb. Durhams, but not sure how it'll react to being thinned enough to "barely pour"...will it shrink much, being slightly thinned passed it's intended viscosity/consistency? Will oiling between the 2 layers (so they don't stick together) effect the Putty, or will it not mix (penetrate, thus possibly effecting it's integrity) since the Putty's water-based? For sealant, if it's necessary with the Durhams, would Minwax Helmsman Spar-Urethane work?
