1more rod
« on: 10/11/12 15:17 UTC »
Started on another rod with black/violet highlight and copper with a little electric blue added on the second coat. Not as bright as the other rod but these colors in the sun really pop.

Personally, I like this one better than the super colorful one, but that's just me. Both look really really cool though! You should make one with bits of glow on it  ;D

Micro spoon Really like the rod. Have you heard of a product called bug bond it is a uv cured resin. works great on guides  and only takes seconds too cure with a uv light. 8) mike
May your days be filled with sun shine and you always have a tight line. AMEN

I have heard of it but have not tried it yet, But I will. Got a few projects I think it would work well on.

Clear Cure Goo is another UV cure epoxy.  The regular is a little tacky when it cures; but an alcohol rub will diminish that quite a bit.  It is more expensive  than "traditional" epoxy and primarily aimed at salt water fly tying.  Works very well and is quick -  10 second cure time.
