Actually, if the mold was cut like that with the undulaions I supose that would work.

Pretty clever either way. Would like to see it in the water.

I know the guy that designed, made the original molds, spent a ton of money developing it. Got the idea scuba diving in Mexico and saw a cuttlefish..and bingo, made the mold.  Bait formerly was called Wingman...now Evolve is distributing it as Vibragrub.   It catches fish, rather expensive.  I have about 40 packs of them

Maybe you could get the effect by just the way they are laid out to cure??? Laid on a wavy surface with a groove cut for the main body to lay in to keep it from rippling also.

that would be real hit and miss...think the guy has well over 50k in the molds for the bait and several patents..

Thanks for the info. I have been looking for these baits for a long time. I bought some many years ago and have not been able to find them. They are great baits with awesome action. I only have about 2 or 3 pearl white and watermelon left. Thanks again.                                                                                                                                                                                          Bob

Ghost is pretty good at pop molds but I bet this one would give him a run for his money. Where is the old boy anyway? He's been mia for awhile now.

I always described the G Grub to have a cuttlefish like action.

That's the same bait I thought of when I saw it.

This was sold by Cabelas over 25 years ago. Called a Mr Mean. I still have a few. Great action on a spinnerbait head.

G grub does look like a gator tail...isn't anything like the wingman/vibragrub.
