I just got my new CDN thermometer in the mail!

Just got it, just calibrated it... Now it's time to go melt some plastic and see how far off I have been all this time!  Andy, thanks for recommending this thermo!  It feels great in the hand, easy to read the display, and it looks nice, to boot!

I doubt that it is "better"...but I'd bet it's "good enough"....

As I mentioned in one of my posts, my Daughter is an Environmental Microbiologist and that is the unit that they use in her lab (she recommended it to me)....and they can afford darn near anything!

well there you go!!  I like Klein products...and i bought their "better" one, thinking in the long run it would pay off.

Unfortunately, it will have to wait for another day to get the test.  We had a medical issue spring up all of the sudden.  I will post my results as soon as I have a chance to use it.
