They have 4 6" micro clamps for 19.99 and good deals on the bigger clamps as well. Thought I'd share.

The larger silver ones will outlast the smaller ones (years of use vs. months if you use them often).

I agree with Jason. The micro will work and work well just not nearly as long. I have used mine heavily for about 3-4 months and they are starting to show wear. They don't bite quite as well as they did new.

These ones are the new generation and look much more durable and do 300lb clamping force. I have yet to try the new ones though.

And there's this. Next generation 600lb. This thing looks strong!

These are the ones we've switched to.  I still have some of the others, but these are beast.  I think they are much safer also.

I was getting ready to order some new ones and think you just helped me decide on the 600lb. Looks like that thing will last and the bigger pressure point looks like it could be beneficial in what we do.

Drew posted the new 300lb blue gold one. It looks better then the older blue gold ones but isn't the 600lb.

I've been using the 600# clamps for several months and there's no comparison to the 100# clamps I had been using.  As Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor says..."More Power".  I guess it's a guy thing.  Sorry Buffy.  Welcome to the forum.
Until next time.

Jason

I'm a contractor in my area and I specialize in alot of finish work and custom remodeling. I will only use the silver XP clamps now after switching. Jason is right, smaller ones wear out and aren't as strong and then you need to buy more. They give me as much clamping force as my Jorgensen wooden parallel clamps (which I thought I would go to the grave with) . Also, the price for the 6" that 412Bait posted is awesome. I don't even get that from my local suppliers with a contractors discount.
