Pearl powder is powerful stuff.

Try 1 dash per 8 oz

I also add 1 tsp 015 pearl glitter per 8 oz for a little more shimmer

Dont forget the heat stabilizer

Looks a lil yellow in the pic but it is pretty white.

White pearl is not as easy as it seems. Montes is basically what I think a white pearl is. You want a white bait with pearl. My formulas are very large so here is one. 4 cups plastic 1/2 teaspoon white pearl and one drop of black. A weak black like MFs is best. Here is one with white but not x2 colorant but strong colorant. 8cups plastic 5ccs white colorant and 1teaspoon white pearl and 1/2 teaspoon .008 silver holi flake. These both look really differant but good pearls.

Thanks Frank, Monte.

I pour in 8 cup pyrex...do the tests in smaller batches. Both seem viable..as we all know, a great color(s) white, white w/pearl, white pearl.

For a "Glistening Pearl" I use powder only.  Lurecraft's Pearl has a silver glisten to it and CCM White is almost pure white.  Add rates depend on how opaque I want the bait and what gliters ( if any ) I want to add and how much I want the glitter show through.   With all the threadfin shad that are  in the TVA lakes, pearl is a mainstay.

I find pearl is a wicked color at a lot of times, in a lot of places...and when the weather gets cooler (or is cooler in spring) pearl white is a great color, salt or freshwater, jew or greek, bond or free, romulan or klingon, conservative or liberal....wait, not sure libs fish, think they have someone catch/clean fish for them...but, I digress :-* :P 8)
