Help!, Help!, Ok guys, help me out here.  Today is my birthday and my husband got me the Bass Tackle Twinjector that I asked for.  Why is one of the tubes sticking?  It is the 3 oz. and one is great no sticking and the other is sticking.  Help!!!!  Has anyone else had this issue with this particular brand?  I love my first injector from Bass Tackle the 6 oz.  It was perfect from day ONE.  I have lubed them and it seems with interchanging all parts from my original 6oz., that it is the milling of the tube itself.  My husband agrees but insisted on me asking ya'll for help.  Help!! If anyone has had this problem what did you do to fix it?
As a matter of fact, I DO fish like a GIRL.

Try to slightly losen the the parts.. Also i have had the problem and have just left my plastic in the injector and set it upside down and let the natural oil in the plastic lubricate the injector.

Drawing the plunger...does it stick and not go any further, or does it pause then continue passed the imperfection, then pause again as You push the plunger back out/forward?  If it stops completely, it may be a nick, or maybe the tube is slightly caved-in, not completely round?  If it's Out Of Round, I'd contact BT for a replacement.

I'd pull the plunger out and check the interior surface, maybe with a Pencil Eraser or something similar (something that won't scratch aluminum)...long enough to reach into most of the injectors length.  If You find a nick or scratch, maybe hit it to try to "knock it down" if it's a nick...or again, contact BT for a replacement.

This is the replacement for the one that came in almost 2 weeks ago.  I hate to bother BT with replacing it 'again'.

1...What was wrong with the 1st one, that was replaced?

2...If that Blending Block accepts 5/8" Injector Tips...You can get 2 of Jason's Injectors (superior, from what I've read, in comparison to others) and use them with Your BT Components.  The 2 "clamps" that hold the Injector Tubes and the Injector Plungers together...while I'm not sure what Tube Diameters they're cut for, but they may be useable with 2 of Jason's 4 oz. Injectors.

loosen the 2 caps at the top a little & only hand tighten the 2 ball knobs. other than that it will get easier after you work it in some. i have the same 3oz one.when i 1st got mine it was a little tough

X2... Time is your friend with the twin injector. I think all the new ones have a break in period.. Also they loosen up the warmer they are.  Try doing what Dobyns said in his post loosen the top caps and the black nobs. get some scrap plastic and suck it in and shot it over nad over until your injectors are nice warm. My guess is it will shoot smoother and smoother as you shot, I know mine does.. and dont forget to leave your last shot in the injector and let its natural oils do the lubing of the injector. If you add worm oil to the "o"rings you take the chance of plastic bits and dust causing you more greif.

if you have a griddle lay you injectors on it (without nozzels & bar bracket) & let it sit a bit .that should help get things movin as billmo said

1. Break down and clean
2 Lube cylinder with oil
3 realign your plunger shafts
4 draw plastic
5 inject

Most of the time my plunger shafts get out of align causing the aluminum to catch the plunger shaft on the plunger holes on the top cap.  Pay attention to your injection to see if your twisting the two plungers when your pushing down.....Good Luck!

Just throwing out ideas here.  If the injector actuates fine with no plastic, then I believe it to be one of two issues.  A.  The injector is cold and the plastic is gelling in the injector, B.  The plastic is not up to temp and is gelling in the injector.  If the injector does not actuate smoothly without plastic, then it is likely the injector (tollerances may be off).

I had the same problem I honed mine out and they worked much better. I shouldn't have had to do this but it was much issuer than sending them back and forth from Australia

All of the above. The more you use it, the easier it gets.

take it all apart.  Put it back together.  Then loosen it up a bit. Maybe true putting WD or worm oil in the tube.  Work it back and forth.    If you have had the problem with one already and now having the same problem with this one.  I would say its you, and not the equipment.  There is a learning curve when using the twin but its not hard to figure out.
