I like the idea of being able to match say jigheads to craws in one place. Lol and I was serious about the concave bottom worm weights put in a good word for me lol no one offers this style mold for the hobbiest. Thanks for taking the time to answer all these questions jason

Yes, I think most of us has as many ideas on jig molds as we do plastic molds! I know I would love to see a underspin mold with a plastic mold to fit it. :o

Jason, love ya buddy.  Congratulations.  Sounds exciting.  I have been on the "merger" and "partnership" ride a few more times than I liek to admit, but it sounds like this case will be a win-win.  Again, congrats!

...by the way, in retrospect, don't you wish you would have just scheduled a conference call?   ;D

It's not a problem.  I think most already know we wouldn't be doing it if it wouldn't improve our capabilities to offer the best products possible.  As soon as a few new joint products roll out I think any concerns will be put to rest.  We can't be all things to all people, but this is definitely a huge step towards providing a really deep lineup.

If I could make one suggestion...on their weedless jig molds, 90% of them don't have a plastic keeper on them.  I feel that your current product line would do well to have the jigs that they affix to be made with keepers. They just came out with the new Trokar line...great looking heads, but only 1 of the weedless heads have a keeper on it.

Congratulations on your partnership, I hope it is more successful than your wildest dreams.

Thanks Tim.

Great idea.  As soon as I get a chance I'll create a jig section and we can start putting ideas in there.

I'm curious what this might do for the prices of the molds? With manufacturing taken over by a company such as Do-It, I could imagine that they're capable of higher numbers of molds with less labor.

It doesn't really work like that.  All CNC work is based off the cost of the machine and time it takes to run, setup, material, tooling, etc.  The biggest variation you see related to price is normally related to detail in a mold / design (detail=time=cost).

It's top notch. Jason is taking time out of his Friday night to answer questions.
That's why I shop here.

It made my head spin when I read the email.

Congrats. Jason! My question to you is, will we still be able to get the same top notch personal  customer service and speedy delivery of products as we have been getting? And will we get to talk to you, or will we have to speak to someone in big corporate office, where we will be just another customer who's name is quikly forgetten. I understand that this is the name of the game in business is to grow. And dont get me wrong I am very happy for you. I am worried about my business as I have been able to produce a better product, and make it quiker to my customers thanks to you and your company. And will we be able to continue to get all molds and products currently sold by CCM? Jason I wish you the best, and I know that if your still going to be involved everything will be allright.                                                                                                                                                                                          Best of Luck to you and your family,                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Bob / JBC Lure co.
