I have a 5" skinny carrot mold.... The bait is great, I'm just having problems with the heads and sides of some of the baits filling. Has any one else had this problem if so any ideas? Thanks inadvance

Make sure you temp is up around 350 and hold little pressure on the injector after it stop. And top off the mold when you lift the injector off.

Not to put you off; but the best answer is for you to do a forum search on "dents" or "air bubbles" or "hollow heads".  There are quite a few posts that contain useful information.

You need to make sure and top the mold off.  Hollow heads = sucking in air vs. plastic.

Yep. What Jason said. Also, hold pressure on the injector for a ten count or so after it stops, then let the pressure off and lift the injector. Hold the injector above the sprue and let the thin stream that drizzles out top off the sprue until you get a small puddle at the top.
The cooler you can inject the less shrinkage you'll have. Try heating your plastic to 350 then letting it cool to around 320 or so before you inject. With the exception of ribbontail worms, all my molds shoot perfectly in the 310-320 range.

I've had a lot of luck with fixing dents on carrots and the big 4.5" swim shad by bringing the plastic temp down to about 320 and really topping it off good!
