I`m from the U.P.of Michigan,60 miles north of Green Bay,Wi. My old Strikemaster cuts holes in ice like butter. They don`t make a propane one,but do make an electric.I might wait another yr. to see if they come out with a propane next yr. I just can`t bring myself to buy another brand.

So Matt, what brand is your auger? Do they make different models?  What model is yours?  What diameter your auger? Is it that new Ion or Strikemaster?

Hey you guys, wouldn't it be a lot easier to just slide the ole Triton out there, lower the ETEC until you have a hole and then drop shot from the comfort of your cushioned seat.  Maybe get a couple chem patches to put in the sneakers to keep the tootsies warm. A fingertipless pair of wool gloves and a hoodie.  Oh yeah, and sunglasses.  And toilet paper, just in case.
Until next time.

Denny
