starter videos

Hi, are there any videos on how to do multiple colors with injection molds? I am a bigtime crappie fisherman and would love to make some jig bodies or curlytail grubs with multiple colrs. Mainly 2 color bodies and a single color tail. I have found nowhere on the internet showing how this is done. I want to get into doing this for myself but want to see how hard it is to do before investing time and money. Thanks guys.

Do a search on this forum for "Frank"..he may have you tube link somewhere here...He does "OK" work ;D  with the twin injector....Just kiddin' He's a Pro
C-tom and Microspoons are your crappie pros...It might be cheaper just to buy already made baits from one of these guys!

If you aren't looking for videos about the twinjector, I've got a few how-to youtube vids on bait making.

Frank has some great videos I have a question for him or anybody that may know. How does he keep his plastic hot so long?? I see he has his cups in some kind of pan is it on a hot plate? I thought the cups would bust on heat like that?

Frank uses a griddle with I think a homemade cover he sits his cups down in to help hold the heat.

Basshunter, heat can be a friend or foe. I personally use heat on EVERYTHING, some refuse to heat molds, injectors and so on. It basically comes down to what you are comfortable with. I have heated my cups for hours on end on the griddle then tossed them right back in the micro then back to the griddle. If you plan to produce a large amount of multi color baits without a machine of some sort your either going to keep the cups warm or have a ton of plastic to cut lol. I will always give any tips to help others but it is always a preferance, some things may not work for others or as well. Some things I can't do without heat, my skinny vein baits for example. Without heat I could not make them possible.
