Crappy fishing the other day

We went to the Savannah River the other day to try to catch a mess of crappy for dinner. I pitched a 2.5" Swim Fry up to a willow tree and found a nice crappy. I threw back a second time with no luck. On my third case I got another bump. When I set the hook the drag started screaming. My fishing partner looked at me and ask what I had on the line. My responce was "I'm not sure but I don't think it's a crappy..." After a good fight on my 7' crappy max pole rigged with a trigger real and 6 lb line here is what came to the boat.

Nice, Bro...and that's one of the reasons I went a hair heavier with my new Sacalait rod.  Nice Bass sometimes tear UP the small baits, and they hang out in the same terrain that Crappie do (Scrappy Doo!).
