Adding Jigs to the Forum was a REALLY Bad Idea!

For me...personally...adding jigs to the forum was a really bad idea! I've resisted the temptation to get into making my own jigs...but seeing all the good work, colors etc.... has now cost me nearly $300!

Placed  my order with Barrlow's for a few molds, heating pot, ladle, some lead (wanted to start with good stuff!), powder paint, hooks and that made it to $200. Then I found a site by the name of TJ's http://www.tjstackle.com who had a whole bunch of good videos on using a fluid bed ...so there went another $60 or so for his fluid bed, extra cups and more paint.

I really wish you guys had kept this whole jig making thing to yourself!

Andrew, Your not done yet... Got to get a airbrush and paint plugs! Also theye're suppose to be a new plastic paint coming out that's easy to use for airbrushing plastics. Let's see after making jigs and spinnerbaits, pouring plastic, airbrushing plugs and plastics you might have some time left to go fishing!!

Another step down the slippery slope  .  I think you will enjoy lead pouring and powder painting.

now you should invest in a vacuum mold system to make your own hard body swimbaits.

 I hear ya Andy!!! I'm only in half as deep as you so far, but I've only just begun. Sure is great having an understanding wife. I don't know how she puts up with me. Poor woman. Counting the grandkids she's raising 5 of us, by herself!!! ---Tim.
