Getting an idea of what all might be wanted would be a start, but some of these colors use pigments that make getting everyone's request in stock a simple nightmare.

I'm pretty content with the colors I have right now and creating or duplicating a color is half the fun of this whole shooting match. I'd say that 50% of the time while looking to copy a color I create a color that works even better than that what I set out to copy.

I have every color of the original CCM smoke pearl colors. I never use them as a stand alone color and the only time i get one out and shake it is to tweak another color slightly. I know.....not every one has the knack to work with color that some of us do. That said, having the color you want would be a real nice bonus. Especially those changable colors. I haven't figured those out yet at all. That MF colorfast Motor Oil I am going to buy a pint of though. I have a pint of the  purplish pink to brown now and love the color. Lots of people in this region love that color.

I bought the Motor Oil to use as an adjustment color to help pull down the yellow in ambe baits but now I love it standing by itself with the red flake mentioned earlier. Gots to get more.

Hard to "hurry" niteglo, copper...believe they are powders. Niteglo (as is copper) one of top selling saltwater colors...don't know about freshwater but I'm guessin' it would be very good (both excellent color w/laminates)

And with Do-it's purchase of CC months old we are waaay past hurrying colors. Be nice to buy all colors/powders from one company.

Still searching for the wizard that makes things appear with a poof of smoke and magic but if you find him Grimp let me know. I've got a crankbait order that fills an entire tackle bag I'd like to see magically finished...

Hmmm, Drew...not sure what u mean by that, but as long as u do, that's good.
The colors I mentioned, powders niteglo (and other glows), copper are readily available. Wizard, poof of smoke...don't do it fast??? Not sure how that apples here.

I was referring to Do-it getting everything everyone asks for instantly, if you could not understand that I am truly sorry.  ???

As for your statement of the powders already existing it does not apply here, yes other companies carry many other products but Do-it is basically picking up the ball and trying to take it into the end zone. Pearls, glows and new colorants will come, for now you can either purchase them through another company or wait.  :-*

I am trying my hardest to keep this forum positive so this will be the last post on this topic from me.  ::)

I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND (do u work for Do-It or their spokesperson.?.you may be part owner, u may be  a mod for all I know!).. I do buy much glo, copper, UV, other colors et al from another company.   :P

while the fishing season might not be quite underway in the midwest, north, mid-atlantic...it's been underway for months in the south.  That was my point. I'd like to combine X2 and all other colorants/powders if possible, may not be. Btw, I hope Do-It starts selling in large quantities..hopefully it will be a competitive necessity for them. 8)

and I do appreciate your being "civil" in a sarcastic way...I know personally it's quite an errr, "gift" 8)

probably more than most...less than some on the forum; plus I have baits shot by another injection company. Why is that important and how does apply to wanting new colors? anyway, pour maybe 15 gallons a week with hand injectors...up to 20 gal. on a busy week. Machines can use much more.

Its not the colorant. Its too much heat.

My apologies in advance if my questions have been asked before but I thought this would be a good thread to ask them on. Are ALL the colorants being converted to X2 or just some colors? I saw Mayfly for example is not on either anymore but I just bought it in the regular a month ago. If so I will just wait for the conversions and then buy more when it's X2.
Also, I notice when I inject my baits they come out sharp and bright, exactly what I'm going for. After a reheat or two it loses its flare and contrast. For example June bug won't have that bright purple look but a faded dull deep purple. Is this normal? What am I doing wrong and how can I avoid it? I'm not sure if its glitter bleeding or the plastic. Will adding more color or fresh glitter after each reheat help or hurt me?

BTW, my name is Jay. I've been watching, reading and learning from all you and appreciate everyone's advice. It's definitely helping me while I'm going through this learning curve. I haven't posted on the forum yet but have been observing. I don't want to ask a question that has already been asked and beat a dead horse but my mind is full of questions. Thanks again

Many of the "standard" colors are available in X2. Changeable colors are not. Some of the "custom" colors like Mayfly are not. I'm thinking that if people want to see additional colors they should just pm Jerry and make their wishes known to him directly. He can forward those ideas to those who make those decisions. Not all of these "custom "colors fly either. The demand for many simply isn't enough to warrant them being stocked.

I don't think anyone is going to spank you if you step outside of the Do-It family here to get a color available elsewhere.

Purple is a tough color.  There are several discussions around "fading" and "purple" and "discoloring".  A forum search on these words should yield some help.  That said -  I have not tried the X2 purple; but purple as a general rule will fade or dull faster than most; even when kept in close microwave heat control.

All of the regular "Caney Creek" Colourants (excluding X2) are simply re-bottled MF colours. if anyone is looking for some of those older colours that's where you will find them.
