Hey guys! Does anyone have a good recipe for bubble gum? I don't have x2 yet, and I wanted to try one from scratch.  Thanks

The best I found is 6-10 drops of 2x flor pink per 1/2 cup and add white till you get the perfect color you want for me is about 2 drops of white.

You can start with red too, but it'll take a bit more white to tone it down to bubblegum.

I never could get it right with anything but 2x Flor pink and white. Reds OK but I never could find a true red to tone down. Ctoms is the color master so if he said it could be done than t can be done. You might have to be a 9 level color ninja like Ctom to master it but it can be done lol

Thanks guys! Until I get some more colorant I'll play around with my red and white. I guess I'm still a level 3 or maybe a 4, but I'll get there!      Thanks again, Bob

If you go to the store front and click on the colorant selection, then find bubblegum in the X2 catagory and click on it, you'll see a couple examples. One is a little stronger than the other. They are both opaque. This alone will work on your behalf.

Try a 4 ounce mix using a drop of plain pearl and maybe 3 white and mix well. Then just take the tip of your red dispenser over the end of whatever you mix with and stir taht amount into the white mix. Red is a strong color and will over-power a pink in a blink so you want to add just a breath of red at a time. When that 4 ounce cup "just" shows some pinkish to it, cook it. Remember, cooking will deepen the colors seen in raw plastic so at the first hintr of blush in the white, heat it up. If you need to add more red you'll know it as soon as the plastic "turns" while its first heating and you can repeat this mere staining the white even after the initial cooking by adding just a wisp of red at a time. Go slow and you'll get it down.

If you try the red way you will never get the bubble gum color you see everywhere. It really does take flo pink and white. A 50/50 mix will geta darker bubblegum(brighter). I think the ratio is more like 3ccs flo pink to 5ccs white. I make a bunch of flo pink and white worms so the remelts are what I am basing it off of. Three colors I buy in quarts is white, bubblegum and flo pink. Frank
