Is this going to be a secret swap or do we find out which baits belong to which members? I'm a rookie at this so I will be slightly embarrassed but it will be a great way to learn from the more experienced bait makers.

Thanks

Jay

Each bag is marked with your forum name or company logo. So that you can contact other members if you would like to trade/purchase baits, discuss colors/technique or make some friends.

So far i have made friends with many members here and plan to continue my efforts with trips/meet & greats. Just got back from Table Rock Lake on a trip with guys met here. We actually met face to face for the first time at the worlds largest bass pro shops on the way to the lake. Had a great time, caught some fish, heard some stories and got some much needed time away from home.

Nothing to be embarrassed about!  I don't have time to shoot anything fancy like laminates for swaps, I appreciate simple single colors that work just fine!  Most baits i got in the last swap I did were single colors, and they worked great.  Swaps are great for trying new baits, new colors, and just plain getting ideas.

Thanks for the reassurance Nick. I know Drew said minimum of 6 per bag, how many do you usually put in each? I'll be shooting 5" stick baits. Thanks

All I ask is that you do the minimum, if you would like to put more than that in the bag that is up to you.

Me personally, if I were doing one bait (stick bait) I would shoot 8 sticks per bag allowing me to do 4 colors (2 of each color/color combo). This way there could be 2 colors for clear water and 2 colors for stained water. Giving the members a chance to fish the baits in their local waters wherever they may be.

Just my $0.02,

Thanks Drew, that thought did cross my mind and since I don't know where others reside I was going to cover all my bases. I personally was thinking of doing 10-12 sticks per bag, give more variety, I just wanted to make sure that was ok and still not below the swap average. I'm excited about this, thanks again for organizing it.

I'll be doing at least 4 4" bf toads and 6 2.25" grubs in each bag depending on how much time I have to get everything done.

One more question and then I will be quiet.  Right now there are 10 signed up.  Do all the bags have to have exactly the same colors of each bait?  I.E. - All bags must have 2 water melon red craws; or; could some bags get 2 water melon / red glitter craws; and; some bags get 2 water melon / purple & orange glitter craws?   Every bag gets 2 matching craws; but not every bag has the exact same craws.

I believe all bags need to be the exact same so that everyone gets the same stuff.
