A buddy got it in his head that this combination of chartreuse and tomato would be a good bait color. He's been after me for a while to do it so here it is.

The top and bottom color is a standard mix of X2 chartreuse. Seen here is a re-melt. Just a tiny bit of gold hi lite has been added to it.

The tomato is X2 as well and also a re-melt to which I have added gold hi lite and some .008  red glitter.



This was a lot of putz work and I can't say that I'm all that crazy about it but he likes it.

I finished these off with a uv cover dip too to help seal welds.

I think they look great Tom!  Probably too putzy for me to try to make more than once, but nice.

Nice looking baits Tom.  I too wouldn't be in a huge hurry to spend that much time making a hundred more unless the fishes just won't leave them alone... then I might continue to take on the trouble.   ;)
