Are there going to be any new molds coming out any time soon? If so, how soon?

Yes, there are some new things in the works, and I wish I could give you a time line on their release but I can't.  No one wants them to be available soon more than me.  Any new items are going through some rather extensive testing as we want to be sure that the first batch of new molds to be released from Denver, Iowa are top notch and easy to use.  Rest assured that you forum members will be the first to know when I have more concrete information about their release.

Thanks,

Jerry

I am somewhat dissappointed since the takeover  as it does,nt seem that new molds come out with any regularity, like they did when it was Caney Creek Molds. I dont believe that Bigger is always Better. Am I the only one that feels this way? I,ll try to be patient awhile longer but Jason was far more expeditious in wetting our addicted appetites. Dont just pay it lip service, just Do-It! Did I say Do-It? My Bad C,mon Guys! Jason was Innovative and Creative! Just step up to the plate and I will be happy! I am a regular Caney Creek Customer and I wish to remain so but dont wait too long as you are either One Step Ahead or Two Steps behind. Nuff said.

The Do-It crew has been trying hard to get things moving. Be patient. Honestly there is more to the story than just a merger and it is of no fault of the Do-It folks that things have been slow in the new mold department. They are doing now what they have to do to get back on top of things.

Other than the 2 new mold maker's on the scene with variants of some standard stuff no one has been putting out new designs with any regularity most will take a year or so to test and ensure productivity with a new design it's the nature of the business, I don't think it would be wise to just create a design and release it selling numerous molds and find out their a flop and don't swim right, roll over, don't stay down in the water column or simply don't catch fish it takes time to create and test a new design and I appreciate them getting it right the first time.

I shoulder the brunt of no new molds the last couple months and it has nothing to do with the acquisition. Our family is having to work through some difficult medical issues.  Do-it has tackled everything well to date, have faith.

Very sorry to hear that, Jason.  I have been thinking about the Barnes Family a lot lately.  I hope, and pray, that the situation improves for your good family very soon.

With not knowing the whole "mold" issue let's be patient with Jason and DO-IT the reason I think they are the best lure making company isn't because they put a new mold on the net every week, its because they try dang hard to do the best they can and the little things like this forum. The people on here are just as top notch not many sites have the experience that is willing to share like the CTOMs, Denny's, and others. Dreamer goes way above to  ensure that this site is the best on the net. I'm sure they wouldn't invest so much if they didn't believe DO-IT can answer the call of its customers. With that said the first 10 molds cut in the new shop will be crappie molds  :P
