Add the color before you heat and add it on the light side.  You can always add more color when you get up to temp.  It's pretty much impossible to take too much color out.
Until next time.

You'll want to get the fluorescent colors in before you cook. If you should feel that you need more strength to one of those colors after cooking, mix a small amount of raw plastic with the color and stir it into the hot plastic and then et it back up to the 350 mark and stir well again.

Some colors must be added cold.  Typically they are the clear Fluorescent colors.  They will clump and string if added hot.  Almost all others can be added either hot or cold.  If I am working on a new color I will add after heating to get a better look see.  If it is a known recipe I typically add my color to cold plastic.  I always add glitter after the catalyst heat up ( 350 ) and stir.   Most colors are a little more vibrant if added cold.  Dad gum, Denny and Ctom are fast. ( and accurate )

I made that mistake also with junebug. Just add 1 or 2 drops then heat. It will darken up a lot when it's ready to pour or inject.

Those dark colors are pretty strong.  Start with only 1 or 2 drops in a 4 or 6 oz batch and see where it gets you.
