I printed off a pic of the top pic yesterday and showed it to a couple people including a baitshop owner. I'll tell you right up front that having small heads with that wire keeper is a solid move in a positive direction as far as these people were concerned. The biggest gripe I have had to deal with over the years has been and always was the cast-on barb or ball keepers. They split cold plastic like crazy and were a bane to cold water/weather anglers.

I can't speak on behalf of the bass guys here but that first jig is going to be a winner.

Mustad 32786 goes in the Weedless Football mold.

The Swinging Football mold will be 6 cavities: 1 each size 1/8 - 3/16 - 1/4 - 5/16 - 3/8 - 7/16 oz.

Thanks Jerry;  I am glad to see the smaller weight steps in the mold.  I would rather have them than a 1/2 and 3/4, and no 3, 5, or 7/16th.

The new molds will likely be rolling out of the foundry a little prior to the actual catalog mailing.  You all here at the forum will be the first to know when they are indeed ready to ship.

Thanks,

Jerry

No, it will not be hook specific.  You will be able to use virtually any hook with that mold.

great - just when I gte told to 'pace myself' -

I'll be buying atleast 2 of those 4 - probably 3 of them. That should put me right @ 50 lead molds.

Fortunately, my wife likes fishing as much as I do - so that makes these things easier.

Here's a sneak peak of some new Do-It Molds we showed at ICAST and will be available with the release of the new Do-It Catalog coming out in October.

Jerry, what weights will this be available in and will it be for light or heavy wire hooks?
