Here's another big brother done in a nice blue.

The blue is 4 ounces of Do-It super soft. A bunch of stabilizer and 3 drops of UV enhancer. There is about 1 1/2 drops of turquoise blue LC colorant in this with a 3/4" length of a smoke sprue that came from the same mold. To this I added a dab of turquise hi lite and some blue glitter, .015 and not very much. That hi lite really jumps out of this color for the little of it in the mix. Its a beauty for sure.
The belly color is a thin pearl made from 4 ounces of Do-Its super soft and their original pearl colorant, then touched up wit a drop or two of MF iridescent pearl, which has some pinkish red and blue casts to it. It shows up in sunlight but its not overwhelming. I added very small amounts of green and blue .004 glitter to this for some extra color. I used this same pearl concoction in the green bait posted above.
I hand poured the belly to about 3/4 full in the belly cavity. I put a drop of midnight blue on a hard work surface that could be wiped clean, and used a toothpick to just touch the color puddle, then touch it to the front edge of the belly color. I did all the fronts first, then I went back and repeated this doing the very back edge of the belly color, closed the mold and shot the blue back. All i put on each end of the belly color is a spot of colorant, not a drop or a big spot. The spot is no larger than the closed loop in this "a". I inject the blue fairly slow so that the blue dot can wash along with the plastic flow. In all ten baits I got a great lateral line when viewed from the side but the tail line didn't come thru, which I don't mind. I did want the lateral line.
