I have a shop that wants to get some sample baits....like seven or eight colors that I have created and in like six different molds. Of course we are getting heat back into our lives here right after the big dumping the other morning and the humidity is so thick it looks like its misting. I have a big high volume fan blowing air thru the garage along my work area so that helps but the stickiness sure does play games with some of the colors. And when you're sitting at 85 degrees the molds get hot pretty quick. I have a Jacobs mold that does NOT like heat. A soon as the mold gets to a certain temp it starts to throw me baits with hollows in the front halves of each bait. Put the mold in a freezer for 5 minutes and it shoots perfect baits again. Thank goodness its just the one mold that gives me fits.
I might be able to wind this mission up this weekend, before the serious heat/humidity return next week.....for the whole week they say. I don't mind being busy with a project like this, I just like better working conditions. Oh, well, we aren't on fire or under water and I'm not viewing grass roots so there is a bright side.
