Got out this morning for a little R&R used the 2.5 swim fry (in GLOW)for the 4 hours, caught Crappie, Pumpkin seeds, LM Bass and a Golden Bass, super fun on Gloomis UL loaded with Nanofil and 4 lb mono leader. This fish also managed to wrap around a bed of weeds, but my fishing partner was able to guide the boat around the weed bed until we were able to free the fish. Not the target species but fun as heck

That's a pretty cool deal Brent.  A very versatile bait the Swim Fry and multiple species to show for it.  That "Golden Bass" right there is a torpedo full of fun I'm sure... especially with the 4 lb. leader.  Good-on-ya both for bringing it in for the photo op.

Its hard to beat the old carp for putting up a great fight. I see quite a few of them on plastics.

That one looks to weigh up a bit. Did you get a weight?
