Happy Labor Day

Everyone here at Do-It is hoping you all have a super and safe Labor Day weekend and that you will have a chance to get out and enjoy the great outdoors with some fishing or other family activities.  FYI, we will not be in the office on Monday 9/2.

Absolutely. Have a great long-weekend but stay safe in what you do.

Me? I'm home alone again. Carole is off to the daughter's to help with wedding stuff. I have garden things to tend to. Today its sweet pickle slices. Tomorrow its freezing tomatoes and making another big batch of spaghetti sauce for the freezer. I've got about 10 pounds of venison chops and steak out thawing in preparation for the lady's absence. The grill is going to be a busy place.

Don't get too hot while celebrating.  Heat indexes of 100 or more around here.  East to overdo it in the middle of the day.  Especially if you are not used to being outside.  My family gave me one of those cooling towels you wet and place around your neck for Father's Day.  I will say that it does really help when it gets hot in the middle of the day.  I keep mine in my drink cooler until I need it.
