Hi I'm Daryl. I live just outside of Milwaukee, WI. I started an electrical apprenticeship right out of high school. I've been in the trade for 17 years now. Two years ago I started my own company (Brew City Electric) and I haven't looked back. I've actually been tackle crafting for 28 years now. At the age of eight I started my own custom bait "company" selling to a dozen or so bait shops on the way to my grandparents cabin in northern Wisconsin. My dad always joked that I was the only one he knew of that came back from vacation with more money than I left with. I Mostly tied crappie jigs, back when everything was vinyl paint! Now tackle crafting is strictly a hobby.  I haven't played with shooting plastics yet, but it is my next area to try my hand at. Thanks for all the great info!

Hello  Chad here,  from  Richmond, Indiana Manager for housekeeping department at local College.
     Started out in the hobby 10 years ago tying crappie jigs and bluegill flies & powder  painting jig heads. Adding airbrushing crankbaits afew years ago  but jumped into soft plastics last year and love it,  I wish I would have started this years ago.
    Caught my first large mouth bass 2nd day of pouring even if it was only a small one at 8 inch, I was hooked. Since then I have ordered more plastic, molds and made afew molds myself. Only hand pouring now but with new molds out might give the injecting a try.
    This past summer caught my biggest largemouth bass to date 4pound 11ounces on a watermelon/purple flake freedom fry rigged wacky. I hope to have more success this coming year.

Welcome to the forum Chad. Freedom Fries are one of my favorite and most productive baits, I started out with an open pour fry mold and I love hand pouring baits, but there is nothing like cracking open an injection mold and pulling out perfect baits every time.

Didn't know about this thread so here goes nothing...

I live in Eau Claire, Wi and deliver fuel for a co-op.  I do only diesel and gasoline but we also handle propane. Our company also makes lawn fertilizer and ice melt.  If you buy any Menards brand of this that is ours.  Long hours but a great place to work.

I've been laying, sanding, and finishing hardwood flooring for 20 years now.  Been on my own for a little over 16 or those years.  Things were a little slower than I like in the winter starting in '08 so I bought a plow truck.  Been growing that for the last 7 years as well as doing flooring.  I'm to a point now that I pretty much just shut down the flooring side of things in the winter. Have a wife and 2 daughters that my world revolves around!  I'm a pretty fortunate guy! Try to go camping or fishing as much as possible during spring, summer, and fall. I'll try to post a few pics of my flooring work and snow equipment.
