Hey, Buffy, keep that love flowin', girl.  Sounds like Jerry hit the jackpot too.  I'll bet you're a lot like my dental hygienist.  She says my teeth are fine, but my gums have to come out.

Keep those posts coming in.
Until next time.

Denny you have the most awesome witty humor.  I love reading your post.  BTW, from your pic on the forum, great smile/teeth!
As a matter of fact, I DO fish like a GIRL.

Great topic!  I love reading what everyone does for a living. I started working at an Ace Hardware when I was 17. I started off part time and after graduating high school I went full time. The pay was not cutting it as I was 19 and living on my own. I got a job at The Home Depot that was opening soon.  It as really cool and a TON of work setting up that store prior to opening. I worked there for about a year and then decided retail was not for me.  I then went to work for an aluminum extruder. I was a waste water operator for their anodizing line. That was a rewarding and dangerous job as I was working with with acids and caustics. Working there has helped me learn a lot about safety which I practice now when working with plastics. I went on to become the lab tech, then the anodizing line foreman and then the traffic manager. I wish I was making plastics back then as we were also a machine shop and had 12 CNC machines and could very easily have molds made for really cheap. Oh well! I was let go from that company and I now currently work for a huge logistics company in Bolingbrook, IL. I met my friend and fellowmforum member Wilks19 there. We are both dispatchers/freight brokers. My job is to find trucks to haul freight out of our distribution center located in Decatur, GA. I have been working here for 6 years. That's my story.

I work for a Linen and uniform supply co. in New Mexico. I guess you could say I wear many hats. I manage shipping and receiving, production, safety, and assist with maintenance for Thirty years. I have been a tournament angler for over 15 years. I started making baits about 4 years ago, and when friends and other anglers became very interested in my baits I figured I would try making a business out of it. Now I sponsor a couple of youth fishing clubs, and my local university bass team(NMSU). I want to thank Jason and all of you for helping me become better at making baits, and sharing priceless information that has helped me to share what I Love (The sport of Fishing ) with others. Thank You, and God Bless.      Bob/ JBC Lure co.

Have two jobs, my bread and butter is Cooper Tire. Been there 28 years, started on the production line and now am the day shift supervisor with 130 people working for me. My second job is firefighter. Started with them 30 years ago as a firefighter and now am chief. God has been good to me and blessed me through the years. I plan on retiring in two years.
I've been making baits for over 15 years. Started out with just lead weights, spinnerbaits and buzzbaits. Then I made the mistake of trading a few spinnerbaits for some old worm molds, a quart of plastic and three bottles of coloring.

Isn't it amazing, BK, how fast we can accumulate stuff.  I think I could go two lifetimes and not use up all the dead animal parts, dubbing, flashy stuff, lead, plastic, colorants, hooks, beads, tied flies, feathers, books, videos, fur, craft fur, hair, buck tail, HDA, salt, scent, eyes and all that other stuff so that we can make what we could probably buy for a couple bucks.  It truly is an illness.

Oh yeah, I forgot molds.
Until next time.

If that's not the truth Denny. I'm using an old fly tying kit that was my grandfathers and then my dads and now mine. There is a wealth full of equipment in it now. Funny how it just grows and grows. But that's ok I feel each lure I make has a little bit of each of them in it. And in my book, that's as good as it gets.

I have way too many. Last time I counted there was 12 Do-it lead molds, a bunch of old Palmer molds and even a few Hilts molds. Have a ton of old hand pour molds and now the injection list is growing.

I consider it money well spent since there's nothing fit to watch on TV. Plus it keeps me out of my wife's hair.
