To Hot!

On vacation this week, so I went fishing this morning. Water temp was 79.9!!! Didn't catch a thing, so I came home and poured me some drop shot baits.

Here in northern Indiana, because labor day is over; a lot of foulks are pulling their boats out and storing them for the winter! I think Im going to leave mine in until December at least. We haven't had any ice until February the last couple of years. So, I'll roll the dice.

Summer water temps here commonly get into the low 90's.  This summer has been very odd as the water temps are 83 - 84 in the main river channel.   We have seen main lake river
channel temps as high as 95 - 96 degrees.  Really rough on the fish.  Almost no oxygen at those temps.

Just got home from Canada 5 hours north of Minnesota. Temps were low to mid 60's and water temps were 58. You guys are just fishing the wrong places.
