I ordered 3 mad dad 3xl molds the other day and shot some today. In one of them every time there's two air bubbles at the end of claws same spot and size every time.I've tried shooting slow fast hot cold and the same thing every time.Is there something different I can try?

You could try a very light hand on a file's corner to open up the vent on each claw. The issue seems to be with just the one mold? If you've run all other options I'd say the vent is either not open enough or you are clamping too hard on top of the vent.

I have shot hundreds of MadDads and I agree.. Go light on the claw clamp. The air that is being displaced by the plastic is not escaping out the vent.

Listen to what Andrew and Ctom are advising.  They know of what they speak.
If the other two molds are injecting well and you have changed the order of injecting this mold ( I.E. -  Not last every time ) without results;  then it almost is for sure as Andrew and Ctom have said.  The judicious use of a small triangle file along the claw vent ( or vents ) should remedy the problem.  I have had two molds ( neither were CCM ) that had a like issue and this technique solved the problem.  Just a tad of opening.  If you are hesitant to "attack" your mold; then I would Email or give Jerry V a call.

If the other two have no issues and you are mass clamping I'd just take the file to the vents on the one mold. It takes only a swipe or two to make them breathe easier.

Has it always had issues with bubbles in the claws? Or is a recent event?

If it's a recent event: Check the alignment of the mold you are having issues with. I'm betting it got banged (or even worse dropped) and it's slightly askew....blocking off that vent somehow as it gets to the very end of the fill and there is less pressure to push the air out.

If it has always had an issue check and see if there is a burr in the tiny vent off the tip of the claw.

Otherwise, I'd call Do-it Customer Service and ask them for a replacement.

Why don't you give Do-It a call and we'll see what we can do to straiten this out for you.  If you're consistently having issues with one mold we may be able to replace it then fix or scrap the errant mold.  319-984-6055

I was having the same issue! All I did was cleaned my mold with wd40 and really slowed my injection down. Think real slow! Now they all work premo!
