Carrots
« on: 10/08/13 17:49 UTC »
Everyone seems to have had a love affair with the various sizes of carrots so I figured I should try my hand at a few. Here's my first run right out of the paper.

The colors are noted in other recent postings of the Super Fry. The only addition here is the orange throat patch.

On these I used a dowel sharpened to about 1/8" at the tip dipped into orange plastic and then dabbed in the mold cavity right behind the gate opening. The dowel is about the diameter of a pencil and is sharpened using a pencil sharpener. It takes some practice so try dipping and dabbing on the mold using junk plastic that's been heated up. Once you get the hang of it, get out the serious colors and go for it.

Those are really cool, the orange throat patch is ingenious, most would just use plastic pait but using plastic so that it is in the bait is just awesome!!!
