Used these wiggle eyes on my jigs.  Used Duco cement from the hardware store and it's worked out good, haven't lost any yet

and here's a bunch of the jigs

I've had a ton of doll eyes for years and never knew what to do with them.  Now I do.
Until next time.

Your jigs are so pretty you could make earrings out of them and sell them to the ladies! (Maybe Denny would wear one in his ear!)

Gotta step outside the box once in a while and my congrats to Fatman for doing it.

I think I've tried every kind of eye made over the years on jig heads and have applied similar eyes to these many, many times. My success using eyes like this has been from the subtle "click" they make when jigged. You'll also find that the over-sized appearance simply helps fish to orient the front of the bait from back. Good job Fatman!

Thanks all.  For ball heads you have to squeeze them to get the flat spot and the minnow or horsehead flatten the little lead eye.

Toad I wish I could have found the glass ones!!  If anyone buys a bag of these to try them get a static dryer sheet and put a small piece in the bag with them!!  I put all of them in a ziploc bag so they didn't end up all over.  Got these ones at Michaels.  If I find any old glass ones I'll let you know toad.

Hey...some things are better left unsaid.  Besides, it just adds credence to what I told Josh about fly tying.
Until next time.
