Jerry's Junebug Nano
« on: 11/03/13 12:43 UTC »
Jerry has a picture of the new senko-type  worm that comes from the new mold that he did with Junebug over a light colored belly. I liked the Junebug the way he did it and copied it using a Nano mold. The belly here is a simple light pearl and Jerry's thin Junebug is shot over it for the top and tail. Red eyes finish it.

In this application I think the Junebug as Jerry did it doesn't have enough density. His recipe was for 1 drop in 2 ounces of plastic. I'll assume he used X2 product since that's what I used and I think in a small batch of 3 ounces 2 drops should help make it appear a little denser.

This is a great color, thin or otherwise. I like it and I am sure the crappies and pannies will eat it up too.

Its amazing at how large and thicker applications of the same color makes a huge difference in how it looks. The Nano just doesn't have much room for splitting colors without beefing up the color you want to stand out the most, like this Junebug.
