Questions on the new web store.
« on: 11/09/13 13:39 UTC »
Jerry, When the new web store gets going are we going to be able to order lead molds from it as well as the plastic molds? Will the rewards program be continualed and will it only apply to plastic molds or will lead molds be included in the program also? Like the idea of being able to order a lead mold and the plastic bait mold  along with wire keepers, hooks etc. everything you need for a project. One stop shopping just like at  Walleye world!! ;D ;D

The new site will contain e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g Do-It has to offer at one location... I've a feeling that there won't be changes to the rewards program for soft baits molds side of the program but I can't say that it will be carried over into the lead molds portion.  I suppose we could raise the prices by 10% and then offer a program like that... How will that be?

No, I think the reward program just for plastics is OK. :D :D

Jerry,
Since Do-it has been selling lead molds to retailers for years; what's the possibility that Do-it will sell the molds for making plastic baits to retailers too?

Thanks,
Rick

I think the intention IS to take it to a Dealer / Distributor level.  That of course is a huge step that can't be jumped into quickly from a production level alone.  I'm convinced that it will happen one day but not so sure when that day will come.  (It's a "long term" goal at this point if you will)

Thanks. I know I'm sounding like a penny pincher, but if buying from a dealer vs direct from the manufacturer is cheaper; then that's the route I would take.  But, on the other hand. If the discount for buying 3 or more of the same mold is still given at the manufacturer level; it's possible that could be the cheapest way.
