This is nice....

Lately I've been messing with the Candy colors in the powder paint and was asked the other day what I thought of mixing the Lime Green and the Yellow. A couple years ago I got venturesome and mixed a couple of the solid color of powder paint in the same two colors and ended up with a bunch of paint that looked like 1950's kitchen linoleum [for you youngsters, that's vinyl flooring]. I was not too happy with it. So my recent reply was "I don't know but I'll ask the minds who should know". This morning it was "Hello Jerry". His reply was that he'd never tried it. Never thought about either. Well, here I go to the mixing table and this is what I came up with....

The jig on the left is the straight Yellow with gold glitter in it. The one on the right is the straight Lime with emerald and silver glitter in it. That puppy in the center is the equal parts blend of the Yellow and the Lime and has some gold and some emerald glitter in it. The outcome here is definitely interesting because this has not mottled in any way, shape or form. The gold and emerald glitters seem to pull a nice color out of this blend. I like it.  In the hand this blended color is spot on in the middle of the color fence between the Yellow and Lime even if it seems like it leans toward the Lime some.

This is great to know and maybe some other really sweet colors can come out of these Candy Colors. The glitter is from the Vinyl paints page in the Do-It catalog and is avail in 1 ounce jars. It is super fine glitter.
