weightless wutz it
« on: 01/05/14 16:38 UTC »
I rigged this on a screw lock owner hook tied to 10lb seaguar tatsu ,It walks on top pretty nice too

Jerry is there a section we could make for videos like this? I think with the variety of ways people shoot videos it would give others who are looking at any given do-it mold multiple views of a bait by different people.I usually post in the rigging section but this seems to be more of a demo of how a bait looks in the water

I totally agree.  I think we better let the web guys get the new web site done... then you and I will pester them about such things.  I do know exactly what you're saying.  ;)

Amen, Bareknuckle,  I have played with the 4" Wutz-It a fair bit and the bait always looks good in the water.  Real fishy.  Size is good also for a threadfin.

I've watched a couple of your vids now before ordering a mold. I find it absolutely necessary to see the baits in action before I order without having to ship a bag of samples up here to Canada.

Now you wouldn't happen to have a video of the 4.5" dragon tail would ya  8)

Thank you good sir.

I don't have a video...but I do have the mold and have done really well with the Dragon Tail Texas rig (the tail really likes to stand up !) and drop shot.

In regards to the Weightless wutz it...I found some large gap light wire hooks that worked in the bait and fished it in really shallow (less than 2 feet) and they worked pretty good. But our bass (especially in the shallows) are not very big... 1-3 lbers. I did best by wrapping the front of the hook (shank) with tying thread and crazy glueing the bait on with the hook exposed out the back.

I also tried some wide gap wacky hooks in the nose of the bait (did the thread and glue thing) and that worked even better on the Northern Pike.

The 4 inch Wutz-It on a weightless light wire hook makes a great twitch bait as far as I am concerned.  I have tried quite a few baits and I can't find one that I think is it's equal.
