UV is a powder additive that you can get from Do-it for your plastics... (a little goes a long way)... and you can test it with a black light to see the difference it makes, especially in low light.

There should even be some pictures on the site of what it looks like in a bait, but I can't find it... (Jerry?)

All I can say is it is a MUST HAVE for me!

I use the same thing c-tom uses that 5 drops per 1 cup of plastic give me a pm Jerry said they are working on a UV for plastics

I would say to call Jerry at Do-it, as that is how I got mine... even though mine is a powder, it blends ultra clear (just as ctom mentions for his). 

While fishing walleyes at night (just before the freeze up), I was getting about four or five to one, over those not using UV.  The thing to note is my bait had no color (just some sparse glitter in case I wanted to use it in the daytime), and in the dark of night - several hours after sunset - there isn't much the glitter is doing... that just to underscores the UV factor.
