Black and blue
http://custombaits.com/index.php?action=gallery;sa=view;id=2064
Here's today's work. Pretty standard black and blue combo. Blue is 4 oz plastic, 4 drops blue x2 touch of blue hilite and uv. Black is 6 oz plastic, 15 drops black x2, 2 tablespoons hda, and some blue flake.

Like that blue a lot. Every time I see those mini croakers I want that mold more.

Man with that color blue you could make some wicked looking "hematoma" colors. Add some UV blast powder to the blue and bam!!!! Bass killer. Keep the UV out of the black, it makes it look purplish blue at first hahahahAhahaha.

I've had the hilites for awhile Tom. Hda, uv, and croaker molds are new though. I've wanted the mini croaker mold for awhile, it's super easy to shoot and bellies are easy to pour. Get it, DF!

That mini croaker is a great crappie bait. In addition to frog colors I shoot it in silver and white (minnow colors). That bait really makes some noise in the water!

Love the socks. Who's wearing them?
That blue against the black is a solid color combo. Purples are another good mate for black. It seems that the darker the blue or purple the more intense the combination appears. Glitters, transparency and hi lite/pearls just make those colors more intense.
That's a nice spread of baits.

Haha Tom. Didn't realize my socks were in the shot!
Now you have me thinking about purple. Might have to play with some junebug. Mix it a little light, maybe blue glitter instead of green. Blue hilite.
Need to play with some red too.
