Brushed Minners
« on: 01/31/14 09:28 UTC »
This was the first I had ever used an airbrush.  I didn't really have high expectations cuz I'm not artistic whatsoever.  Heck I can't even read my writing! :). I used spike it new water based line of paints ( O2 )
I dipped these afterwards but you can use their clear.  These are 2.5" baits.  I look forward to getting play with this more!  Man the sky is the limit.

They all look great, but that black and chartreuse is sick!  Nice work!

Thanks guys!  Mo once the paint dries you can handle the baits without messing it up.  Trust me i woulda had smudges all over the place trying to get these lil baits situated!  Especially on those i put the hilights on for the changeable effect.  Plus no fumes at all!

Try mixing the do-it highlight into clear and shooting through your masking. Makes a really cool effect.

Awesome looking baits !!! Do you dip them to seal the paint? Or is there a paint that doesn't flake or come off when the bait gets warm in the summer time. Mike 8)

I dipped these.  Dipping adds depth and really makes them pop better than spraying a clear coat.
