Bead Belly Swim Toad
« on: 03/15/14 17:49 UTC »
The body on these toads is X2 midnight blue that has been reheated a ton and still looks great. The belly is clear with glass beads that I "borrowed" from my daughter.

Did you shoot the beads with the plastic?  I like the effect.
Until next time.

Nope, I put the beads in the mold as I hand pored the belly, the beads will sink very fast in the plastic so I pour, put a few beads in, pour put a few beads in, ect.

If there was a way to get it to suspend it'd be cool to shoot them in the some sticks instead if salt or HDA.

Just use a weighted swim bait hook or Texas rig with a 1/4 oz weight. I have that mold and it's about the only way I fish it.
