Charity/Donations
« on: 03/22/14 09:36 UTC »
I know this has been discussed and lot of you guys have been on board about donating some baits to a charity. Is there a list of organizations that would accept some baits? Or is there a member on here that handles that who we can send them to? I've searched local charities and organizations and came up empty handed. Who do you guys donate your stuff to? I have a bunch of scrap plastic that I would like to make into some baits and put in the hands of someone who would use it this fishing season. If anyone has an address to send them to, over the next month I would like to shoot this plastic into something someone can benefit from, rather just compiling in my scrap bin. Thanks

Jay

If you are looking for a great organization to donate to HOW [Heroes on water] would be a great one they take war vets on fishing trips and take any donation they can get.

Thanks for the Reel American Heroes lead, I just emailed the director and within 5 min got a response, not bad for 10pm on a Sat night. He said they would absolutely love any baits that I am willing to donate. Here is the address if anyone else is interested. If I hear back from HOW, I will post their address as well.

If the wings are traveling faster than the fuselage, it's probably a helicopter - and unsafe.
