Crappie colors for bass
« on: 04/17/14 19:13 UTC »
These colors are more likely to be found in crappie baits but I'm going to give them a try on the bass. These colors are out of my comfort zone for sure.

Colors are all X2

Those will all catch large mouth, and are nice looking baits.  You will be surprised what colors turn out to be really good colors  ;).  It will vary from watershed to watershed, but do not be afraid to experiment with colors ( IE  Bubblegum ).

Are you doing a plate for the lam or are you slumming it like I do with the spoon?

These baits are big enough that I can hand pour out of the cup for the lam, if they were any smaller I would break out the spoon.

The baits on the far left are 4 drops midnight blue with 6 drops of purple, the purple will not show very well on my camera for some reason.
