First tournament win.
« on: 04/18/14 21:03 UTC »

This fish anchored the bag weighting in at 7.3 lbs.  caught on the do it 5 in skinny carrot.
5 fish limit was 18.8.  Two other fish came on drews cranks.  And the last two keepers came on the swing jig after the crank bait went away.  I thought the fish had moved turns out they were tired of the crankbaits.   The swing jig is moving closer and closer to the shaky head. ( best jig head ever). The baits on the swing jig. Come from southern Yankee.
Last but not least the pig was caught on one of my home built rod.

Mo the rod is awesome. I'm afraid I'm hooked on custom rods.  Looking to replace everything I have with home built rods

I would have took a pic of the whole bag. But they had been out of water sometime. And I was taking the to a farm pond. They are draining this lake in the fall because it's over ran by gizzard shad so they say.  But it bass heaven.  7 and 8 pounders can be common. Which in Indiana is big very big.

Overrun with baitfish so they're going to kill everything in it?!  Truly a government decision.
