Reward Points
« on: 05/21/14 09:00 UTC »
We have completed the merger of the points from the old site to the new site.  It appears that there are a few accounts that are not able to be matched to the new site.  Some people have different email addresses than before which did not allow for the points to be mapped over to the new accounts.

If anyone is having issues or is seeing any discrepancies, let us know and we will get them manually corrected.

Thank you for your patience.

Ryan

I had sent an email today regarding this topic but I thought I would ask here while I was logged in. I see for instance when ordering Plastisol the reward points are the same regardless if you order a pint or 5 gallons? I always order 5 gallons but am rewarded the standard 25 points. I would think that paying $175+ for 5 gallons one would be entitled to more points verses someone buying a pint and receiving the same amount of points? On the flip side if I buy say the 4" Super smoothy tube for $54.50 I would receive 27 points and joe anonomous can buy a pint of Plastisol for $9.99 and receive almost just as many points. I am just curious as to how the points are determined?

Thanks
Jeff

Jeff,

It appears that the points for the different sizes are calculating incorrectly.  We will look to get it corrected.

Points are valued at approximately 50% of the dollar amount.   $100=50 points

In the mean time, if you ordered 5 gallons and did not get the proper amount of points, get in touch with us and we will get them manually added to your account.

Thank you for bringing that to our attention.

Ryan

Thanks for the quick response Ryan. I figured there must have been a standard formula for calculating the points. I brought this up before the merger but couldn't remember the response I got from Jason at the time so I thought I would ask again. I have never received more than 25 points ever from all the times I have ordered Plastisol. I am guessing I have ordered probably 15+ gallons over the past year maybe? I could always use the points for future purchases but not sure how to honestly determine how many points should be awarded??? You can pull up my account history if you would like to determine how many points should be rewarded possibly?? It will be listed either under my name (Jeff Damron) or my business partner (William Damron). Thanks for taking the time to investigate this.

Jeff

Me again. Sorry to be a thorn in the side... just looking through the new site looking for more stuff to buy and didn't see where you could use your reward points? I know on the original Canney site there was a rewards section but I searched and searched and couldn't find a way to "cash" in ones points.

Thanks
Jeff

All my points transfered over but cannot figure out how to use them. When I click redeem,  it just brings me to the product page not seeing a code or anyway to redeem them? Am able to add them to shopping cart but would like to use my points.
May be something I am doing wrong.

Not sure what the rational for the point valuations in the past, but the above is how we are moving forward.  It looks like we have a few tweaks on a few items.

The "rewards store" will be added shortly.  If anyone needs to redeem points, we can do that over the phone and get you what you need.

just curious if there is an ETA on the rewards store?  I wanted to take advantage of the awesome deal Jerry mentioned, buy a new mold and add in my points mold so I can pay for shipping once..

Bill, if you would like, we could handle the whole thing over the phone.  We can process reward points via email or phone.  319-984-6055.
