Carrot Stick

I recently purchased your 4" carrot stick and plan on using it for saltwater and fresh but I am having trouble when I try and insert a jighead to it. The body doesn't seem thick enough. My question is..does the 5' inch carrot stick have a wider body in addition to it being longer or is it the same girth with just another inch added to the length.

Also is the "senko" bait thicker than the 4" carrot?

What jighead are you using it on? A jighead with a lead collar will split the bait. . Try the new teardrop jig with the wire bait holder.

I will second what Muskygary said - also - you can "flatten" the wire keeper or leave it out all together and superglue the shape to the hook shank and head of the jig.  Any collarless jig will work in this instance.
