Clown
« on: 06/15/14 13:07 UTC »
Here is a 3/8oz in clown pattern with clown colored pro-scale willow leaf blades in size #4 for the top and #3.5 for the bottom. This is primarily for river smallmouth and will be retrieved at a moderate pace in slightly stained water. The head is made up of white powder paint for the bottom with transparent chartreuse powder for the body and candy red powder for the head area. The skirt is wire tied on and consists of white with chartreuse stripes, chartreuse baitfish, and red barb wire which make up a 42 strand skirt.

I do have a test tank that I could test them for you in. No charge of course. It would be best if you send 6 or more to check for consistency. You know that's big now a days. I'll send you a framed letter of quality performance that you can proudly hang on your wall for all your friends to see.
Just saying I would do that for you and all.  Your best forum friend Lamar

Sj is much too smart not to see through your obvious attempt at pandering, Lamar.  I have taken it upon myself, as a well trained and well respected legal beagle, to safeguard sj's proprietary interests.  Take this as a warning, Lamar, no more "clowning" around.

You're welcome, sj.  Hopefully, this nips Lamar's abhorrent conduct in the bud.  To play it safe you should send those six spinnerbaits to me for safekeeping.  We may need them for evidence.  Trust me.
Until next time.

Ahh old wise fart you are there Mr. Denny. I have my legal certificate tattooed to my body. Remind me when we meet and I'll lean over and show it to you. There are three things I would never trust a lawyer with SJ. Your money Your wife and Your spinner baits.

Thanks for all the kind words guys, it feels good coming from this group as everyone here does exceptional work. The clown pattern is one I've done for a long time, absolutely deadly on smallmouth and when it comes to my river smallmouth it will work all year long in both stained and clear water but not a ton of luck with largemouth. Thanks again guys, this group has some of the best lure makers I've ever been around on one site.

I don't have that mold or I'd pour them for you too but if you want you can send me the jigs and I'll do the same paint job on them. Would you like the white belly on them too or just a full transparent chartreuse body with the red head/eye area?
