X2 Blue Fleck 1

  I bought this color just for this Ring-It worm mold.  I don't usually try to copy factory colors but I had to give this one a shot.  This is 5 drops of X2 blue fleck 1 to 4oz. with lots of med. and large blue flake. The tails are just pearl powder and a tiny bit of X2 white.  Its pretty darn close to the name brand color, may add a touch of purple for my taste.


 
  I really like the way this mold shoots,  was worried about those little tails filling in with a cold mold but had no issues.

Nice looking worms DF. I have eyeballed this color myself. I'm still on the fence when I think about getting it.

 I didn't plan on getting this color or this mold but I bought a bag of name brand baits like this on clearance for $1.60, I thought for that price its worth a try, and I'm glad I did the bass around here are loving them. Hope my version works as good.

Ok....I ordered the #2 blue fleck.

In these parts that ring worm in purple with a pearl tail is one of the "standard" walleye colors in cold water. I brought up a bag to compare to what DF shows here and his color is near spot-on. The pearl needs to be bolstered up some but it too isn't far off.
