Nozzle falling off
« on: 08/15/14 11:18 UTC »
This is a vid I just made showing how I use a Do-it style injector.

Suck up plastic
Turn upside down and burp any air out
Inject slow and steady (every mold is different)
Top off
remove plastic from nozzle with glove
hold nozzle with glove and squirt excess plastic back in cup

I never lose the tip amd never get burned.

Dont mind the mess :)

I never purge...just draw and fire.  I also leave the tip on the injector until the plastic solidifies.

I do Jerry V style, pour into injector, put tip on, purge, and shoot. Less mess.

And perhaps that's all a little less messy but I can also tell you that my left hand seldom if ever leaves the nozzle... its just a habit now to have the left hand on the nozzle at all times.  It's really not that hard and a little injector control never hurt anyone... ;)
