Mini Croakers and Mayflies

Here are some more baits from my new molds. This is a great color on sunny days in clear water.

Those clear mayflies would be killer ice fishing baits. Clear has been really popular here the last couple winters.

I fish my mini croakers like a minnow...they really kick! Very effective on Crappies.

I couldn't believe the amount kick these little guys have, real fun bait to fish.
I'm not into ice fishing but if this winter is anything like last year I might give it a go. We had good ice for nearly four months.

Add a touch of bronze hilite and you've got a color that's been doing great for me this year; though I haven't put a bloodline in; might have to try it next time.

Ain't no such thing as "good" ice.

I did these a bit different than normal, first I made the blood lines by spoon pouring red plastic into thin lines on the back of a cold mold, then I hand poured the bellies of the baits and while they are still hot I placed a tiny piece of the red plastic on top, closed the mold and shot the rest of the bait.

Nice baits!

I have hand poured half a stick mold mold. Placed red yarn, and injected second half

The only "good ice" is in my tea glass ( in Alabama ).
