Blue gills gotta love em

I've been practicing my blue gills and advice? They seems to be a fish where no two are the same color. I like the way these turned out I used more orange and red this time.

The top two pics really resemble a sunfish but I sure do like that one in the third picture.

I just got my order of those today... I drilled holes in mine to remove three 1/4 inch balls to make them float and wake bait as a topwater... Yours look nice... I posted some fish identification link pics not long ago with many different patterns to choose from... Look for it.

You've got it all wrong, Tom.  I have it on pretty good authority that he's been buying the finished cranks from Tom1448.  He then sticks his hand in a bucket of paint, picks up Tom's bait, takes a pic and pawns off Tom's bait as his own.  Despicable.

That's why Ryan took the bait swap away from him.  He was taking all the good stuff for himself and putting his junk baits in the bags.  Despicable, just despicable.

Really nice job. I especially like the first more subtle version. Although with the gold sides and bold black triangle stripes looks a lil perchie.

Maybe flanks more white. Lighter misting on the back and side stripes should just barely show and fade to belly. Lil less bright on orange and not so far back too. Dont forget the ears
